The Tale of a Destined Ranger
"You say you need a story for your ritual? I'd be glad to share with all of you. This story is my own, because it is the only one i truly know," The young mongorian said, sitting down on the ground. She laid her katana to her side and rested her hands on her knees.
She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply before she would begin. "My mother was a kind mundane woman, who could sew just about anything. She was very caring and taught me how to act properly. My father, well I never knew him. My
mother would tell me stories while I was growing up, and would tell me that he was a great ranger, though could not reach the lore held by his master. Unfortunatly, while my mother was pregnant, he died defending her. The man who was his master,
still young at the time, delivered me under a clear night. As he took me from the womb, he looked to my mother and spoke that her child would become a far greater ranger than he or my father.
So my childhood was spent on an edication with my mother. The man who delivered me that night became mysurrogate father and would later become my master as well.I never had time to learn any of these games or jokes that you play, and never had the chance. The only people I knew growing up were my mother and my master. My mother didn't get the chance to show me any affection by my master's word.
He said it would make me weak if i showed any compassion, but i never believed him." The girl rose to her feet, and entered the inn. Walking out a few moments later, her arms wrapped around a ragged, purple doll.
"I finished my education at the age of twelve, and immediately was tested at the isle of lore, where I was accepted to apprentice. Once we returned home I began learning all of my skills needed to become a ranger. Upon learning bits of lore, I would have to survive in the wild being given less and less to help me with every skill I gained. Once I had completed my apprenticeship, I was given a final test. I would have to survive for one month on my own. After that, learning all of my beginning ranger abilities seemed fun. My master, went far easier on me around this time because my mother fell ill. When I had nearly mastered the first rank my master as well became ill. I was told to come here, to evermoore in order to learn and be taken care of.
I return to them when I am not here with you, so that I may take care of them as best I can between the months." She sighed, rising to her feet then sitting next to another, resting her head on their shoulder softly.
so thats her explanation of things... i think shes really interesting and is alittle more open about her past than others... her life really wasnt that bad... so i tried ot make up for it with personality..
