the last one! this ones coming in chapters!
She pulled him closer, wrapping her arm around his waist. "I'm so happy my parents are taking me to see the runecaster for my birthday," The smaller minotaur said, "I love getting the chance to speak with tradesmen." She pushed her hair back behind her horns.
"It's also the day you will find your true name," The male replied.
The female was very tiny for a minotaur, but had a alot of personality to her appearance. She wore loose, flowing pants, and a tight top, which was short enough to show her stomach. Down her right arm stretched tribal tattoos.
"Ilsildril! It's time to go! We have to be back by nightfall remember!" A voice yelled from outside the room.
"Coming mum!" She yelled back, "looks like it's time for you to go. You are coming to my ceremony tonight, correct?" She kissed him.
"You know I wouldn't miss it Ilsildril, do you have any ideas yet?"
"I have a few Eloth, I will decide from what my heart tells me. Unfortunatly, it tells me ot go off on my own."
"You'll get the chance in a few years, time moves quicker the older you become."
They both left the room together, Eloth exited the house and went down a trail, dragging his feet behind him. Ilsildril got into a carriage and sat next to her father.
They rode east for several hours, and stopped in front of an old building. The outside was unkept and dark, except for an elaborate sign hung over the front door. It was a vibrant purple with orange and green designs outlining it. In large writing the board read 'Fortunes Tellings'. The three walked into the building with the sun directly above them.
The inside of the shop was dark, covered in different covered drapes and beads. A table with cards and stones lay in the center of the room and candles lined the walls. A tall woman jingled as she walked out of what appeared to be the far wall.
"I've been waiting for you all day. My name is Layla. Now which one of you is Ilsildril?" the woman asked.
"I am," the youngest one said.
She sat at the table and Layla did the same. She signaled for the two older minotaurs to leave and they did so promptly.
"Now young one, why is it you are here? what is it you wish to ask the cards?"
"I want to know if I will become someone. I want to know if i will do something great."
"That can be done without the cards," She said, laying down the deck back to the table, "this will change the rest of your life. Are you sure you want this?"
"Whatever it is, I'm ready for it."
She raised her hand to the minotaurs forehead. Slowly she closed her eyes, but it seemed like she could still read Ilsildril perfectly. After a few seconds Layla's and fell and a smiled formed on her face.
"You have the ability to do things your parents will never be able to do. You, Ilsildril Morroway, are able to become a tradesman and help defend our realm."
Ilsildril jumped to her feet and smiled. Through her entire lineage, her family had always been mundane. Every member would go through the same chain of events, until now. She would break all the tradition and brave the world. She could do what her parents dreamed of. Ilsildril squealed, hugging Layla tightly.
"what should I tell my family? They respect trademen, but they don't actually know one."
"Don't tell them until you feel ready. Afterwards, return here to me. I will have you judged in front of the council of lore."
She hugged the gypsy again, wrapping her arms tight around the woman's waist. They said their goodbyes and Ilsildril went to see her parents. She stood before her elders, collecting her thoughts and calming herself down.
