Ko'lea'toe Book 2
Introduction from the Author
They say that when doors go unused for generations, they can lose the "memory" of where they are supposed to go, the connection between to places severed. Some people open doors and find brick walls. Why would a door open to a brick wall? They dismiss it and say that it was built that way. Sometimes doors have the abilty to open where they are not supposed to. I have seen this many times, doors built where they don't fit, 5 even 20 feet off the ground. No one can reach them, but I sure do hope no one walks though the other side in a rush. At this very moment, people are walking through doors, and making the connections stronger. Yet in other places, doors are weakening, and their destinations getting a bit hazy to them.
The man in the first story walked into a door left unused for ages, and happened to walk accidentally into another world altogether, and the door behind him locked. He was lost in that world dealing with the only man there who had also come from another world's door. But this man was quite evil and believed that the world that he had stumbled upon should be destroyed. He had believed it witchcraft and the people in it the creations of a wretched mind. Our protagonist saw things differently, and beleived that such a world should not be desturbed in such a fashion. He thought it should be kept secret and sacred as it was.
Our protagonist was quite the patient one. He waited out until he himself found a way out of the world. A pendant he had found on the doorknob was the "Key to Keys" according to a found book. Upon using the pendant in a machine, he had discovered a key which would open the door out to his world. He fled the world and locked the other man inside, with no escape. The only option he had.
Unfortunatly for our protagonist, the outsider who was trapped is quite angry...
First chapter coming tommorrow!
