okay, to explain this. OGL (Order of the Golden Lions) the medieval/fighting group at TCNJ was planning on doing a program for Samhain (Halloween), we just decided that we're not going to because there would be next to no time to prepare everything, but i thought i might as well ask you guys at an attempt at a random sample (though random you are not). Even though we're not doing it this year, we decided that we can at least try to write down ideas and plan for next year.
it would be outside using light from the local lamps and possibly the volley ball court, also electric tea lights if they can be found/power sourse. the time fram would be 11pm-3am give or take an hour or two in either direction. but it shouldn't really be more then 3 1/2 hours. It was planed to be so late because 10/11 is when most of the other halloween festivities would be done. and because halloween falls on a tues this year and most (myself excluded) don't have classes on wed, or at least early ones.
it mostly would entail some type of histroy lesson/storytime, then games, then attempt at a ritual
also i know the ritual isn't defined, just because its hard to find one that is based on a group, is easy to preform, and doesn't involve fire.
lastly, the last thing we need to worry about for next year is that there is no way we'd get to have a fire on campus, we'd be lucky if we were allowed to use candles and insence outside (the college is rather annoying about fire and things burning)
well now answer the question already.
thanks, also if you have any idea about what we can do, i'd appricate it.
