okay now i have time to finish this post, sorry bout the first one it was made during the last 2mins of my english class and the bell rang so i had to leave.... hey guys, so i had to think of something to give up for lent and i was dumbfounded. last year i gave up video games, and the year before i went down to playing only a single hour of games a day (opossed to my normal 5-10+) so the past two years were about about me shorting and playing no video games, not that hard when there is tv or a lotr/other fantasy book to read. so this year i wanted to shy away from it. than someone sparked an idea i had in the back of my head, but wasn't too sure if it was a good idea. To give up talking about Realms, now just to explain, i will not talk about MR unless i am telling people what i am doing for lent, preparing for an event (fri night of the event) or at an event. too bad i've realized that this cuts out all lunchroom topic info i have... also to explian why i'm doing this a lot of my non-LARPer friends began to get sick of us talking about it nonstop last year, like after our second event or so, so i decided i'd do them a favor and not talk about it. and here begins the next 40 most annoying days and most boring lunchroom periods...damn you Rebecca, Vito, and Dan. Edit: Newly added: It makes sense now!

Impossible. Biczo, you could not last through all of Lent without talking about Realms. If you did, I would have to give you a cookie or something. On another note: Dan, for the love of God, please don't try something like last year. If you give up some sort of foodstuff, asian or otherwise, I will personally hunt you down and kill you instead of having everyone around you suffer a fate worse than death: hearing your lamentation about becoming "whiter". And you too Biczo. You two are strangely masochistic when it comes to this, so please don't do anything that might cause you physical harm to abstain from doing. Sometimes I think you find excuses to cause unnecessary physical harm to yourselves. If you're going to do that, give up life for Lent, and then tell me how it goes. Oh wait... Please finish your thoughts as well Biczo, because I know that it gets annoying when I can't understand what you say most of the time. With this post, I had personal experience with you to have a basic idea of what you wanted to convey. Yet in your other post, it's as if I'm reading another language. So please, I beg you, for the last time, put your post through a word processor or something. PLEASE. This will only take you about two minutes extra and it will make you coherent. Getting back on whatever I believe was the topic, I really think that Lent is useless because Christ supposedly died for our sins; why should we have to give up something in the name of God when he already forgives us for those sins? I don't know...

Okay this is a common misconception of lent. You do not have to give something up; you could for instance do something more. Lent is not sacrifice but a self improvement. If it doesn't improve yourself it isn't suppose to be done during lent. For example I couldn't give up Chemistry for Lent. So it isn't just sacrifice it is making the human itself better. Okay theology lesson is over. I WILL BE SUPER VITO LOL!!!
