i'm selling treasure chests, they probably need to be made by an artisan, they can be trapped once properly made (unless they automatically come in-game made already, but I doubt it). There are a few sizes, it's fairly large, and a nice trick on some goblins who wish to trade for a "magic box" that when you open it, sets off a fire trap. I know how to make an easy fire trap with pop rocks and the chest, so if that's what you need, ask.
I don't have a specific price yet, but they are fairly large chests, large enough to place some trinkets, but small enough to carry with you. you will need open hands to carry the chest with you if you want a large one.

What's a "fire trap"?
I used to make trap boxes for the NPCs. Most likely, if you come across a small trap box with an electrical trap in it, I made it. (Either me or Dom C or perhaps even Tony.)
If anyone wants a list of stuff you need to make an electrical one, lemme know. It all comes from Radio Shack for like less than $10.

That would be excellent. I really want the parts to it. If you could PM or E-mail it that would be great.

Ultimately a fire trap is a trap that is held together via a box, when you open it, it (usually) unleashes hell via pop rocks. normally you do this by when being opened or even messed with a rock drops and lands on the rocks. As primitive as it sounds, it works pretty well, and is usually easiest done with a large chest. the whole thing is that when they open the door with the latch (which you have to do) something heavy drops, usually via a rope and lands on the rocks, obliterating whoever opens it. usually good for convincing a goblin that it is a magic chest and having them "steal" the chest away from you to see what's inside... *BOOOOM* 3 out of 4 goblins get stumped by this... also works for retarded creatures, and sometimes if your clever with undead it works as well. example: You find yourself around in the woods and you see a chest on the ground, it appears to be red. a man is asking for the bodys of victims of the undead slaughter for the box and the key, you offer your box instead... you say it has much treasure and artifacts to help better the cause of his undead legions. *ok lets see what's in this... *BOOOM** clarify: your bleeding *bleeding 1* *bleeding 2* *bleeding 3*

Ok, so where does this fall on the Traps chart? I dont see how this "fire" trap falls into any of the categories. And the "clarify, you are bleeding" is incorrect to "clarify, you just took X [type of damage]..."
And yes, I believe it's under the Fashioning heading of "Construction", an Artisan can make a strongbox. Details are in the rulebook.

well aren't Drop-Pop Pressure, fire traps, but i don't think thouse could be used on a box.
it seems that what your talking about is Trap Box, Blasting Cap. and they deal explosive (fire) damage same as the Drop-Pop Pressure.
