hey guys, i just thought it'd be good if we generaly disgused (vaguely) our tactics on the field. if its anything too privite that you guys don't just want anyone to read PM it or aim me at falcn120 (or e-mail at falcn120@yahoo.com) i am the battle master so i thought i should take care of something like this. we need to be a good fighting unit, if we ever get the chance.
also just so everyone knows my leuitents (for the order, not fwap) are Atrus and Traiz. so they can also be directed to for questions and other stuff.
i mean theres the standard line and that kind of stuff, or flank, but if you have something that you think will work post it and we can go over the details.
also post here if your style of fighting/where'd you'd like to be on the lines. i already know most of it but it'd just be nice to refresh my memmory/have it down in writing. did i leave out anything?

well if i'm going to make more formations i kinda need to know where you guys wanna be. heres what i think so far, just post it if i'm wrong.
Wallace- front Trino- front/middle Mallace- Back Atrus- back/middle Traiz- flank/flanking/sneaky sneaky Deacon- flank/flanking/sneaky sneaky Robin (wolf)- reconossion/betrayal Robin (normal)- front Sir John Luke- front Taemos- front Vlous- middle/flank Ma Ha- back/middle Gravous- back/middle Blue- front Lee- middle/flank
i think thats everyone, if i left anyone out tell me. and also is this everyone that we have to work with (most of the time) i know i left out the 2 newest members of fwap, but i'm not sure where they would go, or how much we would see them. but the necro would probally be in the back/middle, the ranger in the back/middle, and the rogue with deacon and traiz. well thats what i think. any complaints or comments?

i dont know how many of you would be able or interested but we marauders also enjoy a good line combat. we're trying to mold ourselves into crack line troops but more allies on the front lines are always welcomed. if you guys are at all interested, feel free to talk to wallace (sorry, i cant remember your real name) and see if you guys would like to get together some time. we're pretty loose when it comes to scheduling but like to think we can pull things together last minute.

lol sure anytime. oh and my name....well its right above your post . if you want just call me Bix (as most people do, and also thus MacBix) also i think that'd be cool and really great. just a few issues, 5 of us are at college, or at least out of high school. some haven't gone yet and other have so its hard to get us all together other than the events, besides those that still live around here. and also most of those members are in marching band, mon and thurs 6-9, firdays 3:30-11pm, sat 10am-12pm, and sometimes a parade on either sat or sunday, so we have no time what so ever and its like that till nov. we even have to miss the oct event because of it. but besies all that if you look at what we have....*much thinking* *where did i put that list* (3 artasins [only one uses a shield and he's in a wolf state right now] [and one that has only gone two mabye three times], 2 warriors [1 shield], 1 calavier, 1 cleric, 1 alchmist, 2 nercos [one from inverness], 3 rogues [one from inverness], 2 rangers [one from inverness], 1 bard [that has made about 3-4 events in the past 7 because of everything going on], 3 warlocks. so on avgerage we have about 13-15 people when the "starters of FWAP" can make it. also much to my sadness we wouldn't do too well on line battles. we're lacking meat shield department, besides Me and Taemos, Sir John Luke, Blue, and Surge we're outa front line firghters. everyone else is 2nd line or support, or healers. so we'd do better in small groups (which i've been working on). also if you remember our first moon when the Marrauders faced FWAP, remember the last words just about ever battle (every single Marrauder) "Get the Highlander! he's the last one" (me) "..............damn........OUCH! stop rapping me in the cornor." but yeah.... also because we're in a adventuring group we don't do much in the terms of drilling, though i wish we could. everyone knows where there suposto go and the only time i can ever really take command is during a suprize attack on sat afternoon, being the fact that we're not an order yet, nor have we free reign. also some of us aren't the best of fighters so that doesn't help too much either. also if you look at our genetis most of us have 3 body or less, 3 people have 4 body, and i have 5. and i think out of every body that has armor (in their trade) only i and trino use it, sigh* also (yeah i know this is a lot of stuff), i took a drive over near you guys the day of the writter's meeting and the round trip took 1/2 a tank of gas. but anyways yeah i think it would be a good thing and i'd like it. hmmm but it'd be easier in game when we have some down time, just easier to get everone together, but even than its hard cause everone has their own thing. also.......(yet again) i forget when but tague tried to help us with our "steping" overall though i beleive we need some team training. and the marrauders and fwap have worked together before and we will before the realm is destroied (HINT HINT, WE NEED REALMSPIRE!!!) and also to all FWAP memebers i'm trying my best to plan with what we have. also can you guys PM me with your body, armor hide, and also fighting stlye, just so i have a roguh estimate. mabye even how good you guys are, or if you like to fight, i think i basicly know but i'd just like you to say it. so yeah i'm done for now.

well, thats still cool that you all are able to take care of each other in combat... usually our way of doing it is "after they drop, drag them back to the healer circle". well, that may be a bit of an exageration but the motif is the same.
anyway, i dont know when we'll be doing our next drilling day but when we do get one scheduled, i'll drop a date here, if any are interested. anyone who wants to come can feel free to.
by the way, just for clarification, a lot of our drilling isnt actual MR combat related. a lot of it is formation, marching, step and dressing of lines. basically drilling everyone to be able to understand combat orders and do them quickly. sure we do a fair share of sparing but that usually just degrades into jumping on each other's backs and riding them like mounts to a joust... umm... yeah, so anyone who is afraid they would be out of place due to a non combat trade, needn't feel so.

lol, sorry i just need to laugh. " a lot of it is formation, marching, step and dressing of lines. basically drilling everyone to be able to understand combat orders and do them quickly" i don't mean to be rude, but you must never have been in marching band.
we do basics every day at practice so all of us know how to march, how to stay in line and how to follow the propper commands, just adding the swords and enemies is a little different, but if you just want drill commands and such, heck all of us that are in band right now are on our 3rd years, some of those that graduaded have done 4, only a fraction of FWAP has not been in band, so drilling is no problem with us.

okay i have 1 funny thing in my head that would be great for our a tactics of our order's (or any andorian order) and one kind of stupid one that i just thought up out of boredom. The Maginot Line A line of 5+ heavy weapons all facing the same way, with at about 2-5 spell casters and mabye 2-5 bowmen. nothing would be able to approach, but you'll find that i have adapted from the formation that the French used in WWII and made it better, Highlander Warrior style (ie a whole lot more force than neccary but it'll be as nearly impentreable) basicly the only thing i'd expect to get near it is a Nexus, and thats when we run with all of them thnaks to Trino's weigth ritual. spellcasters and bowmen are optional but it just helps in case 10 people rush the heavy weapons, between arrows, the heavy weapons firing, and repel and footsnare. When Zombies Attack. Personaly Wallace would never even think of using this, i just thought it was cute. how often do commoners have enchanted weapons? or trolls, or ogers, or anything like that, basicly no baddies have elemental weapons (only exceptions are claws and spell casters or trained armies/tradesmen) well see a commoner army that vastly outnumbers you, have a necromancer? have him fatal blow you and than raise you as either a skelton, zombie, or goul (i wouldn't sujest skelton though), and va-la they can't even hurt you. just as a side question the undead are hurt by heavy weapons right? and is anything imune to heavy damage?

yes, heavy damage is treated as enhanced damage and thus hurts undead.
as for your questioning if anything is immune to heavy damage the only thing i can think of would be an ancient or possibly elder nexus.

The only thing invulnerable to heavy damage is the target of a Miss Ballad.
