Yeah, I went. Captain Murphy met up with the Quatermaster of his ship, the Sea Serpent, the same quatermaster he also buried on that beach about 4 months ago. After much discussion, Captain Murphy and Kram Ikol founded an order, the order of The Jade Skull. The name comes from an old legend, that was passed down through Murphy's Family for generations. There was not all too much that happened along the line of adventures, due to a lack of NPCs, there was a gauntlet set up, there was a mass bloodball game that most of the town was involved in, and the main battle was against a band of Orcs that left the Empire to join a pirate, and sail for profit. Attacking anything in sight. So this weekend was a lot more role playing than it was a "go kill stuff" weekend.

well thats good our game needs balanece to continue we can't just have all "beat em up weekends" otherwise we'd turn into portal. the roleplaying adds a good touch and helps us all get into the game and really give good emersion, besides who can't love a good game of blood ball. wish i coulda went.
Edit: also congrates on the new order, only sugestion is that you let it add to the game atmosphere and not detract, and thus is by good roleplaying.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the event. $50 to get up and back wasn't in the cards for me.

YOU NEED TO BELIEVE IN THE HEART OF THE CARDS, BRIAN K, OR ELSE ALL IS LOST.
Anyway, the weekend was fun. Very fun. Lack of sleep is a trademark of almost any MR event now, as well as everyone asking why I look undead. I should just undead visage myself just to have an excuse...
I never thought talking to a fugitive from the town for a good 15 minutes could be that much fun. All I have to say is that it made my night. The full moon and clear skies belied the atmosphere, but that really cleared the air for me.
And the fact I was about 30 minutes away helped. (Sorry for the car problems Vito. All is now well with the Cougar.) All in all, an interesting weekend. Gravey's first vacation to the Highlands might not be his last. The climb's a pain, but it's a beautiful place.

Damia goes to Inverness for the ice cream I had fun. Friday night I ran a standing with gremlins doing a history of Inverness play (liek the one I had for evermoore on a mod last event). It was my first time hooking in over a year, and hooking is alot more fun when the hook has an actual personality and a story to tell compared to generic commoner farmer #257.

I weighted the blood ball I'm an annoying elf. They should have known better then to let an Alchemist hold the ball. Being the only person with third rank poisons and purify blood is great i feel immune to poisons. I even made some pause the poison alchemy which made the blindness poison a waste on me. ;D
Talking to the fugitive was great fun. How can the town be that dense. Remember DENY DENY DENY!!!! ;D
P.S. 4th rank vials and elixirs are being sold. You can expect glyphs popping up like flowers now too. ;D
for everyone who went to the the event "So not the Drama"
