heh i just rememebered some things that made me laugh in the face of danger without meaning to mock my enemy. it was a modual i forget when, but i know that Atrus was there (and i think trino) and so was Yanaker (sp) [master ranger] than we come up to some enemies and one of us says who's a Ranger and Yanaker goes "Atrus is a Ranger" and he is sent out as Yanaker smiles to himself.
and now this is where my memmory fades, you'll need to fix anything i get wrong Aturs. either Yanaker or Atrus begins to flank the enemy (trolls i believe) and yelling "i'm flanking you, i'm flanking you!" well they turn to look at the lone Ranger while the entire front line that they were fighting advances and takes pot shots at them. it was so funny. and that is why Wallace likes Rangers now (i probally have a story on while i like each trade).

Yanaker (sp) ran around yelling. I stood their not knowing what was going on. But yes, I was sent many a times ahead to "see what's up there/get killed".

We were at the Bridge and Atrus starts shooting arrows and missing...badly. anyway he eventually hit it and then another troll came so i decieded it would be a good idea to start fighting the troll. So i drew my sword....(do you see anything wrong with this picture). so i was fighting the troll and Blue says " Trino what are you doing you have throwing weapons" and an exact quote from me as the troll pushed foward "oh yea!" never agian have i forgotten my throwing weapons.

My experiences in the field have been less amazing. Probably because I'm not a front line person and have to rely on the protection of the healing circle to survive in a battle most of the time. Yet that doesn't take away from any of the interesting events. You all have to come back for healing some time or another. ;D
And the healing circle is a fun place once everything is in full swing. The most memorable healing circle I remember was the final battle against the Nexus. So much confusion and chaos right from the start became even more suspenseful as time went on. Even sitting in the healing circle had its exciting moments, including the horrible screams coming from the infirmary... poor Orion...
But the most intense moment I had was sneaking around trying to escape the Shaggothes (sp?) when I was forced to flee by the Nexus itself. The green and yellow tendrils of light were close enough to me to activate my fight-or-flight instinct. I practically dropped my piece of a ballista in horror and fled into the woods to the side. From there I took refuge behind what remained of a house, trying to find someone not dominated to at least direct me to the healers. I ran into very little resistance and was glad to have found a lone Shaggothe. I attacked it from behind, hoping to catch it off guard before it could do harm to anyone else. Luckily there was a couple tradesmen nearby to help me, because if I knew anything about Shaggothes I would have known better not to attack a Beta one.
Finally, I wound up finding none other than Priestess Maggie. She had the Morrigan runestaff, which was entrusted to me and I was promptly sent to the healing grounds. And everyone there knew the extent of what was going on.
Well, there ends my extremely long tale of my survival of the Nexus battle. And I actually survived from the front line and everything without being dominated. It was a really good time. ;D
Moral of the story: it usually isn't a good thing for a beginner healer to wander...

heh, nexus moon i remember standing next to Orion and a Shaggot geting ready to cast a spell and throws a dominate spell right inbetween us (he was on left and i was on right so our shields weren't able to block) and as it was being thrown i knew either way i'd be dead, but luckily it found the inch of free space bettween our outfits and we both traced it face between us with our heads we looked at each other for a momment and than charged the stupid shaggot. good times.
also probally the first time Evermore got to see my love for food and battle and how angry i get when they clash. it was the event with all the Ogre's and Goblins and it was sat morning and i was sitting with other FWAP memembers eating breakfast. Than we hear the inn is under attack.... (i'm eating the entire time) i look out side (we were at pin tree) and i see goblins and ogre's charging out, than i look back at my Beacon Egg and Cheese burger (i did have 2 but the 1st was already in my belly) than i look at my sword and shield next to me, and than back out side, than back to my sandwich, where there is only 1/2 left now. I down my spite, toss it, shield my arm, hold the sandwitch in my mouth and i continue to chew, grab my sword and run out and finish it by the time i reach the bottom of the stepps/ramp and than begin to hit the nearest goblin with utter harted for intrupting my eating.
Edit: all in all that took less than 30 seconds.
