If the Necromancers get their own thread so should the Warriors. Sure i have trouble counting to 8 but that doesn't mean we deserve any less credit. i know i'm a meat shield, but i'm getting better every moon, both with more lore and with better fighting skills. so this is a place we Warriors (even though theres only 2 in fwap right now) can be ourselves. and tell our brutish stories.

This thread made me die a little on the inside, because I knew as soon as that Necromancer post went up this would happen. We don't want to segregate ourselves into Guild... although, I must admit warriors have their appeal, especially when they're in front of me receiving the damage. Well, I guess there's no harm in these types of threads. It just makes me sad we're already splitting up everyone. (And you're ripping off of Trista. j/k)

actualy i'm stealing this from (red i believe) off of another board i hoped it would have more sucess here, and i don't mean to segreate heck i have respect for all trades (including bards), we all have our unique ways of dealing with things, weither it be bashing, sneaking, singing, shooting, spelling (?.....warrior logic), throwing, or runing. we need all trades to function, and personaly i wish we had at least one wizard, runecaster, and druid. its nice to be able to even things out so everyone can play there part. heck both as a battle master and a (smart [or at least i like to think so, meaning i don't always need to bash]) warrior i need to be able to use what we have to its fullest, and i was just trying to give some warriors, or anybody that wanted to talk to us a direct place to find us. its not really discriminating or seperating as helping each trade come together to help and learn from each other, and than have each trade learn from one another. or something like that. enough talk time to smash.

also if anybody has any questions about having a warrior charcter they can post it here, i know the skill tree by heart, and what everything on it does. if you think you want to be a warrior he's what they get per rank 8 actions 5 knowledges 2 rituals they eventally get to use any weapon in the realm (minus claws), and we the tough guys that go into the front of battle and take the brunt of the hits, also we are usualy the main fighting force out there, if there is a warrior not with the front lines there's usually a good reason.

Bah, don't get too much of a big head. While the warriors are the primary fighters, there are several other trades that are worth their salt on the front lines. Alchemists Artisans Cavaliers Rangers Rogues Warlocks And frankly, I wouldn't mind having a bard or two on the front lines to foible away anything unpleasant, or a wizard to blast something annoying into non-existence I said this before on the CoR boards about the trades: sure, you could run into battle with only one trade on the field and still win, but having everyone work together makes things a whole hell of a lot easier

And fun. I can't imagine a battlefield without an order out there fighting alongside each other to protect Evermoore. No warriors out on teh frontline giving and receiving terrible blows would be unheard of. It would be terrible to not have a healer to heal your wounds, regrow your limbs and return you from death and teh state of undead. It would be unthinkable to me not to be able to raise you as teh undead to keep fighting for teh cause! Fire and lightning and vials and throwing weapons being tossed here and there make teh battle interesting and adds unique twists to everyone's view and fears out on teh frontline. Who among us wouldn't be afraid of an ogre charging, still with his fatal lore? How many spellcasters in shells will curse teh alchemist who made teh dispel vial that led to their demise? How many times have we all checked our backs at night, weary of a waylay? How many monsters have inwardly grumbled over a kill lost to a rune? These differences enhance teh experience for everyone. So, don't just celebrate Necromancers or Warriors. Celebrate all teh guilds that make up Guildhall, because who knows when you'll need teh help of a certain guild?

your right about all of that, in fact every trade could be considered a front liner, or at least withing 10 feet of the front line. clerics with avert undead and banish, necros with tomb reak and wither heart, druids with insect swarm, wizards with there elemantals, warlocks both fighting and lobing spells everywhere, warriors taking hits and returning them in greater number, artasins doing quick repairs and shattering anything that poses a threat, calaverier deflecting fatal lore, ect. (i could keep going if anyone ever asked). everyone is important. also i am well aware how easy/hard it can be to kill a warrior or any other trade for that matter.

One warrior won't make a difference in the world of stereotypes, we'll always be just barely above commoners.

i beg to differ, everything starts somewhere. and trying to break the sterotype i something that I, Wallace, believes in. I am not stupid, I may be slighly dense at times, but i don't rush into things. and that is what i try to instill onto other warriors and also the members of FWAP.

Oh trust me, warriors are far above commoners. For one, they can chop a commoner's head off with no effort and then laugh about it. Then they chop the commoner sheriff's head off when he comes to arrest him, and so on and so forth. That's the way it is.
The accepted way of life is this: Tradesmen > Arcane Commoners > Dirt > Mundane Commoners Halfdan doesn't believe that we should live this way, but that's how it is. In saying that Warriors are barely above commoners is wrong
But if it were Wizards... XP (joking, of course)

well thats mostly in Inverness, but anyways..... warriors may be looked upon as a stupid trade, but that really isn't true. just because we're "big and strong" doesn't mean that we're stupid. I've never seen Orion do anything stupid, Doom never rushes into battle. Yes there are warriors that follow the sterotype, but its just how i said that all necros wear black; just sterotypes.
