Except in spelling. ;D
I agree with you though Bix. Abuse of lore is a serious thing, but standing against each other and not backing our decisions is even more dire. Now I am not in any way condoning what Hashem did; I believe it was the wrong way of getting the attention required from the town. Yet, Hashem has set a precedent for the attitude we must take in order to rectify the current situation in Evermoore.
Of course lore should not be used so recklessly, but Hashem stood for what he believed in, and had the backbone required to carry out his task. He probably believed it was the only way to reach the town, and I believe he has opened many eyes to the danger in which the town faces. There are many things to consider now that the town faces catastrophy, and sitting around muttering about decisions and not following through is not the way to handle them.
Here's a list of things I believe are essential to the town's survival:
1) Try to Understand the Situation
The town is usually in danger unless there is an understanding of what is happening in the area. Being ignorant of the situation is intolerable, seeing as though without proper motivation and knowledge a tradesmen is just killing people and creatures without even considering consequences. Everyone else angry and upset at the "enemy" should never be enough to bring you to the front lines to fight. Ask someone experienced or who might possibly know about what's going on, because nothing is worse than going out into the fray blind (and without blindfighting).
2) Trust Our Fellow Trademen
This should be self-explanatory. The town needs to have the ability to trust the dicisions made by the panel of people it chose to represent itself. It also needs to trust the decisions made by the warlord. Individual trademen need to be trusted as well, as long as they are of their right mind. (Don't trust tradesmen that are dominated, subservient, etc. ). Otherwise the town will become a pit of festering ill-will and won't work well together.
3) Follow Orders
When the town has to align against an enemy, tradesmen not performing the task assigned by the warlord are hindering the town's ability to successfully defeat the foes presented. The warlord creates the strategy for the assault and requires tradesmen to be able to fight off organized opponents. The situation can be considered war, and usually when a plan is not followed during war (and in almost everything), it tends not to work. Ignoring the orders of the warlord is not only unwise, but dangerous, because it leaves the town vulnerable. If someone believes they can be of some assistance in the matter of strategy, by all means bring it up with the warlord. It might possibly help save the town. Just don't take matters into into your own hands unless authorized by the warlord.
These are only some ideas that I find extremely important to the survival of the town. If someone wants to add to this list, then by all means do so. I probably will end up doing it.
