Rain was born the youngest out of 3. His home ship was the Nighttide, the
smallest ship in the Delandir fleet. Rain's family was known to be some of
the best in the harpoon crews. Rain led a simple life, learning how to
defend himself, throw harpoons with great accuracy, and playing around with
his friends on the Nighttide.
One night, when Rain was 8 years old, while the ship was anchored, it was
attacked. Since the Nighttide was the smallest, it wasn't as well equipped
as the larger ships so the crew had to fend for themselves. Rain couldn't
see much in the fight because the moment he stepped on he was knocked out
and thrown off the ship. The last thing he saw was tentacles.
Rain washed up on shore a few days later. With no money, he began to
wander. A few months later after doing odd jobs here and there, he came to
Andor. While there he began to steal food and live on the streets. One day
Rain tried to pick an old man's pockets, little did he know this person was
a master rogue. The rogue grabbed his hand and pulled out a knife, but then
he changed his mind. He took a chance and sensed if he was more than a
commoner. When the master rogue found out Rain was arcane he brought him to
the isle of lore for training.
Years later, Rain was an apprentice rogue. The old master rogue that found
him was his teacher. After a few months Rain became a full rogue. His
master then told him to seek out a town called Inverness to pursue his
training.

Years had passed and Rain's training was going well, but he had no one to
teach him. He had heard of a master sea elf rogue named Thelia, but he had
also heard that she didn't like any other sea elf rogues. One night Rain
heard a noise outside the Inn of Evermoore, when he went to go investigate.
It led him to the gallows. He went up and and saw a figure. It spoke to
him and he found out it was a woman. When he asked who it was, the voice
responded, "My name is Thelia." Rain froze, he didn't know what to do. He
asked if she was going to kill him for being another sea elf rogue. Thelia
simply laughed and told him he was safe. That was how Rain met Thelia.
Today, Rain is Thelia's apprentice.
