So, you wanna hear about my story, huh? It's nothing too special, but hey, if you buy me a couple rounds, we'll talk.
I grew up in Lillehammer, a village in Asgarn. It's not a big place, only a few hundred people, mostly fishermen and things like that. My father, Harold, was a -- oh shut up, it's not like you didn't see that coming. Yes, he was a fisherman, and my mother Aoife was a Kelt who stuck around the house and took care of me growing up. They were both tradesmen when they met, but when they hit about twenty-five, they decided to get married and retired from Guildhall.
When I came into the picture, I grew up being told about how I was gonna be allowed to go off to Guildhall when I was old enough to study as a tradesman. Until then, though, I helped out with the fishing. Just little things like repairing nets, mending sails, that kinda thing. During the winter, I was sent from Asgarn to Eiren to stay with my mother's family. Winters at the Larkins' house was where I met Teig, namesake of the Marauders. I never had brothers or sisters, but he was the closest thing I had to one. I tell ya, we were inseparable as kids, which worked out fine when we were both shipped off to Guildhall when I was fourteen.
At Guildhall, we both apprenticed as warlocks. I took up electricity and when my apprenticeship ended, I went to Evermoore with Teig and a handful of other tradesmen we'd met - Anvil, Alaric, Angus, Redrick, the whole lot of them.
There. I told you it wasn't all that interesting. Now bugger off, unless you wanna buy me more drinks.
