While many are aware of what is being called the Millville massacre, I am forced to wonder about those involved and even more so when I learned from one of the survivors about one of these so-called super villains. He said his name was Dead Eye, but he also served the Marksman. This inspired my researchers muscle and I did a little sniffing around. I just so happened to come across a very long account of not one but two icons of the past one of course being the marksman and in this writers opinion a tale not unlike one of todays comic books. I present a summation of what I discovered:
Once apon a time there where two great Warriors the Protector and the Marksman. These great warriors were also great enemies. The Marksman was evil and cruel hearted where as the Protector was kind and heroic. As to who they were there is no record as to their actual names, however their remains the record of their last battle. You see they were both captains of mighty sailing ships and while the reason they met is unclear it is known that they both agreed to this fight being to the death. The fight raged for hours as canon fired against cannon Steel clanged on steel and gun fired against gun. As the twilight of night shown down all that remained was the two warriors. They fired their guns and likewise evaded the bullets. What is ponderous is the fact the both warriors never had to reload their weapons and how they made amazing leaps and bounds during the course of the fight which was witnessed by what little remained of each of their crew. In its final moments both combatants closed one final time each meaning to finish the other and instead finishing each other. There are of course the rumors that each had binded their soul to their weapon but their is no proof to back that up save one very unstable man. It makes this writer ponder weather the rumors are true or if this is the villain Dead eye's way of coping with his unique powers. And if not I can only hope that the protector is out their some where as well.
