Hiding behind you if fine, but being up on your back is a safetly issue, so that isn't allowed

and I was a backpack rogue but not in battle. being on someone's back is dangerous. If they slip and fall not only do they hurt themselves they hurt whoever they are carrying as well. It's just like climbing trees, people do it sometimes but they aren't allowed to.

1 are all artafacts have to be boffer weapons? cause i can see a bard with an actual musical instrument and it having magical properties. or mabye a cleric having some type of symobl that grants her more magical spells. even a spell book for someone to read out of to cast spells. as long as it is a non-combat peice the material shouldn't matter.
or is it not allowed because of the solid blow rule, or just because we wouldn't want personal belongings to get destroied or stolen?
2 i know this has been told to me before but i keep forgeting, can you solid blow a bow that is in someones hand? and has the solid blow for bows chaged from 1 for destruction to 1 for disbaled, 5 for destruction?

1. Not all of boffer weapons. Rinan has an artifact neckless and Glendal/Mask has handcuff artifacts (somewhere)
2. 1 hit disables to bow instead of destroying it, so instead of having to get a new bow made you just spend 3 minutes repairing it (if you have the repair knowlage)

Where is this listed? Errata?

it's relatively new, I don't know if it's in the errata yet but Tony and Dom mentioned it at the work day.

It's not in affect until Tony releases it into an Errata. I am a close friend with Tony and he would have told me this by now. So, if it's true, it's not in affect until the errata has been released in game.
Yes Ryan you can solid blow a bow in someone's hand.

its it just by hitting it and saying solid blow, or must you just place it on their and say solid blow.
also if you just hit the bow without saying solid blow is it still destroied/desabled?

saying solid blow helps remind the person that thier bow is screwed, since every hit (other than light) is a solid blow

based on what Tony was talking to me about, I'd be suprised if I ever see any other artifacts for a very very very long time. Tony is very anti-artifacts and there are good reasons for it.
EDIT; and the only rule I specifically know, is that solid blows cant be quick attacks, your weapon has to be solidly on the object and you must say it out loud.
otherwise, the whole disabling bows stuff is news to me, but it's not a bad idea, bows break too easily.

no new artifacts are going to be made ever again and for a damn good reason. They cause too much imbalance and show favoritism towards others.
