I really hope that all you guys had a blast. It was thrilling to see you guys in action. but i think the best part (if small) of the weekend for me had to be during the Bee Hive battle, when Dom and a few others well still alive inside the barrier and as a winter wolf i said something, Dom cocked his head to the side and with a look of puzzlement, amazment, and a tinny bit of fear said "it can talk?" that really made my day.
Another funny one-liner came from Tony on a mid-saturday standing. he spoted me hiding in the woods and said very loudly that he was placing trip rope to stop me when i tried to attack (not sure if he knew what i was), but just sidesteping 2 feet out of the way to fatigue him as a cadaver rat "That wasn't suposto happen" yet again it was hard for me to hold back a smile.
finally during wake up call on Sat, i had to be the one Goblin that was anchor spirited. After being fatal blowed, Highland Stomped (inculding by the little boy), thrown against web, restored, flesh eaten (my voice still hurts from screaming like a little girl), healed and finaly set free by Red. running away at full speed i passed a Necromancer (sorry don't know your name) he got his weapons ready, only to fine me scream at him and continue running. Ah, memmories.
to the PCs in general, you guys did an amazing job. you put up a great fight and stayed together even when things looked down. you all are heroes for proving that no matter what the Tradesmen of Evermore can stick together as a family and fight as a unit. Good job Warloard (Raven Mad???) for keeping the town together.
so what did you guys think of the weekend?
sorry for being the reason you were spirited Atrus, and Trista. you had your backs to thin air and unfortunaly no one saw me.
though i was very proud to see you attacking from the side george, attacking like FWAP should. if only the others didn't run away. than you might have had a shot at living, or i might have gotten two-four bodies, who knows.

"Alright, there's a dog coming at us, we can take him if we all- Guys?" "BREAK LIMB." "PARRY!! HAHA!" *shrugs* "BREAK LIMB" "OH COME ON." *Freaking Dies*
Then devoured Summoned as Archon Destroyed Summoned as Labourer Destroyed Summoned as Archon Again Destroyed Summoned as Labourer AGAIN Destroyed Spirit-Quested
WHOO!!!
Actually, it was an excellent weekend. I was completely robbed of my powders and components by wolves and whatnot, which made me laugh so much because I really should have done something about it. LIKE SET TRAPS. Also, wolves peed on my bed, and all over the FWAP symbols. They also broke all of the weapons WHICH ALL BELONGED TO TRAIZ. HAHA.
The best part of the weekend:
"Have you ever been spirited?" "Me? Never. But I bet you five silver that when it happens, it's going to be AMAZING."
also, I've been raised to 3rd rank, which if I may add, was quite a rediculous experience, chasing the master rangers all over the place. I was physically dead for the rest of the weekend.
Still kinda feeling it.
P.S.
Made me proud. I was giving the Ranger Guildmaster a few ideas on the final battle. "I really think attacking from the side would completely freak them out." "Really?" "Yeah, totally would mess them up." "Alright, there's a dog coming at us..."

heh, yet again sorry george. being a Mountian Bear was fun. heh you thought i was a dog. congrates on being raized. too bad i was doing the exact thing....
*thinking to self* lets see they are all facing the front lines, lets just attack from the side. 3/4 people in front of me run away. and i see something out of the cornor of my eye. i don't think i would have seen you guys if you didn't all duck down at the same time, the movement made me look at you guys more. thats when i headed over and got my prey. you guys could have eluded ;D, mountian bears don't get purses.
well you may have more deaths than me george but i still have the most spirits out of FWAP.
heres a tip, something that walks alone byitself usualy can handle itself. not always though, so you need to be carful. plenty of times i've been walking alone bymyself as a weak lesser being only to get trampled by 5 tradesmen or so, but it was fun having things scared of me for once. heh

Earlier: Talking Wolf:"Slice Hamstring!" Later: Me:"Lets Get those bees!!!" (still slow on land, charging at max speed allowed) ::Unknown healer catches up while walking at a normal pace:: Unknown Healer: "Is your hamstring still sliced?" Me: "Yep!" Unknown Healer: "Is this your idea of a charge?" Me: "Yep!" Unknown Healer: "Lets go... Dragging" And so I was valiantly dragged into battle against the BEES!!!
Good times, fought along side Grendel many times, spirited 4 times, died 3 and had most people who know what they were doing worried when I rolled a 04 on my spirit quest P.S.- Kaiser(Scotty O'Brien) now has a part of Grendel forever with him due to Red(Carthus Avatar)'s revive ritual
Funny thing seeing Biczo scream like a girl, and then seeing Masar and Biczo fight each other as beetles known as "Click Click" and "Click" respectively.

acutaly i think your mods were toned down. i'm not to positive, but i think i remember hearing that 10 scenes was too long, plus some props issues.
but from my own personal perspective, what in gods name where you thinking having Lava as one of the first scenes!

though i believe that the general consensus from the PCs was that they liked it. i heard it was great from everybody, also most said the final battle was too hard (and looking back the PC to NPC ratio was about 1.2:1). but i really hope everyone had a great event.

whos still a spirit? i think we sent 21 people to spirits (out of a town of 35 or so?) and we (the NPCs) also heard that there were 12 successful spirtquests sun morning. only person who i know would defentily be a spirit still is trista (i'm sorry it had to be me, i did apoligize as i fatal blowed you ). i didn't catch who else we sent to spirit.

Now that I have my voice back (to an extent) I think that I'll throw in my two pennies worth. The event was wicked. Plain and simple.
I made 5 THARKANA BEARS AND ONE ICE HOUND RESPAWN.
RESPAWN!
How? I went out on a mod with Mas. Devon, Sigard, a random necromance, Vernon, and Grendal, and we fought all these beasts once. So then I step out of the astray and Grendal goes: "GRENDAL WANT MORE TARGETS!" So I start screaming at the top of my lungs: "HERE BEARS! HERE STUPID FAT DUMMY BEARS!"
and they all came back. THEY ALL CAME BACK!
The fight turned sour when we got our asses handed to us, but otherwise, that was a mod. that went down in history. Sigard tried to feed me to the bears...that was cool. I found out that I some how became an easy target for bees and wolfs...for some reason, purple hair ribbons seem to attract them!
None the less, watching Bixie get his rear handed to him, was amazing. The baby ate his nose! Go baby rogue! He kept running around with a claymore (I think it was Master Devons.) and beating random Tradesmen with them.
The final battle was one word. "DRAMA". I was watching trough the window of the inn, when Uncle Takeo comes up and aims his sword at the window, causing me to freak out and fall over. In turn, what happens you ask? My NECLACE chose THEN to fall off. So I went Psyco Lavvie in the inn and had to be restrained. Then George comes and asks through the window "Are you the only ones left? Hmph..."
Thats when I crawled under the table and waited to die! Oy!
I'll post more when I remember and can get to a computer....PEACE!
Oh yes...one other thing....EVERYTHING IS ON FIRE!!!! FIRE I TELL YOU! FLAMING SHEEP AND BIRDIES AND....yes....

yeah, liam's friday night module had a lot of stuff cut out of it, mainly because we couldn't figure out why it was there. plus the lack of lighting made it very difficult to worry about the lava tarp.
on the saturday module we kind of didn't know quite how much to put into the first run. by the time we realized that the party of masters and an avatar of karthis was able to handle anything we could throw, we were on the second to last scene and getting rolled (avatar of karthis with over twenty mana and fireball is very effective against tharkana bears...). on the last run made up for it though buy destroying everything on the ground (that being immune to blunts makes for a lot of scattered weapons).

Yeah, being those bears was certainly fun. However, I hope they get looked over again and are made to have a little less of an overwhelming advantage.

but you have to remember for the final battle we were given maxed stats to have fun with. most of the time, trials and such your suposto gage the party your hook grabs, and think to yourself.....hmmm can they handle everything i can throw at them? most of the time they can't, the beasties and baddies are given better stats because there are less of them (well theres suposto be) this past weekend was a bit unbalenced. isn't the best ratio like either 3 or 4 PCs for every 1 NPC. we almost had a 1 for one ratio, thats why you seemed more powerfull too.
but look at a lot of stuff and you'll see that they are really pumped up if they want to be. trolls: 20 body, 5 hide, fortituide, cleave and a ton of other actions (a 3rd rank warrior with fatal lore and a lot more hits). goblins have assinate. the only really "weak" creatures (as a whole), in my oponion, are the avians. flying is a little too complicated for it to give them advantage, though looking at the beastery i think i saw some stuff that could change that, strom crows and blood ravens, they looked kinda scary.
also joe, look at the normal ratio for standings, crew of 3 or 4 (and a hook) bringin about 5 or 6 tradesmen out, usualy with a healer. and for mods you have 4-6 fighters for 10-12 PCs. it gives the PCs a chalenge but the NPCs need to be carful that they don't destroy the PCs.
also teamwork makes a world of difference, on both sides. teamwork can almost always win a battle.

Also, a fact I'd like to point out about the battle on Saturday night is that we were under the impression we were facing 60 PCs. Between the Masters' Meeting and the final battle the town's population was halved without us knowing it.

yeah, i'm not sure exactly why the numbers kept fluxuating so much but the ratio turned into a 1.2 players for every npc. not very good odds, no matter what the town is facing. but the bears are actually a weird balance. both the tharkanna and the mountain bears have retaliate 1-2, but they don't have any fatal lore. and although the mountain bears are vunerable to sharp enchantment, they have footsnare and terror. all in all, i would have to say that the new bears are more a complimentary monster than something that should be the bulk of the npc forces. with as much body and hide as the had, they have a good amount of lasting power, plus enough mana to get things to the npc advantage, when it's needed.
