(on the lighter side) The Black Hand should all be charged with conspiracy against Guildhall, as the Kravynn lore tome in their hands would have ultimately led to disrupting and goading a war to start the Age of Chaos. - Write up the charges and I can get to work, considering I'll probally have to be invistagating 1/2 the town this comming Market Day anyways, how much is a whole army.... (on a more serious note) -hell i agree with you. the town constantly makes bad decisions just because they pick the one that is best at them for any given momment, not the one that is better in the long run. This town keeps trying to make a deal that don't like that much, hoping to replace it as soon as a better one comes along.....and the thing that is most annoying....WE LAUGH ABOUT IT! calling it the "Everemore Special" is an atrocity. We see to forget that Tradesmen are in the minority of every battle. The only true allies we have are the Dale, a couple of small commoner towns, and a couple of NPC run bands (Hunts the Sky for example). Other than that, so many people hate us. We don't really try to make long term friends for the town, which is what is going to be required to actually preserve the Age of Order. Religious Fanatics that go against Guildhall law (hell maybe not even Guildhall law, but the very principle of it) should not be supported by us. Where is the logic of supporting a group that will help lead to our destruction?

Gonna put it plain as day for anyone with any doubts:
Red Robes - BAD
Age of Chaos - BAD
Raheed - BAD
Poorly thought-out and expedient political maneuvers against the Orcs, our only friends and allies in the Realm because let's face it, no matter how much we piss them off they don't care because they can crush us and know and that's good enough for them, for now at least - BAD
Red Robes - Seriously, BAD
Come on, the point of it all is to be preventing the Age of Chaos, not encouraging it. Handing over weapons to people who are going to destroy literally half of the powers in the Realm that have a hope of standing against the Red Robes is not helping matters at all, especially because now, the geo-political stand-point goes thus:
Representing the green skins and the single most helpful ally we have against the Red Robes is the Orc Empire. Not my first choice, but then again, we're not exactly in a position to be choosy. Not too pleased with us last I checked.
Arrayed against them are the saviours of humanity, Holt, and the armies of darkness led by Mortis. In no way are they friendly with each other, but they both really hate the damn green skins for liking Grotar (Holt because Grotar =/= Eldin, Mortis because Grotar =/= the Five). So that's two unnecessary stressors on, once again, our only friends in the world that we brought upon them because of the council. They're also not fond of us, but that's only because of the backstabbing and cloak-and-dagger nonsense we've been pulling for years.
Finally, the big enchilada, are the Red Robes, whose resume really reads as a guide for how to be enemies of Guildhall (yet they're not for some reason - when did that change, and why? I remember glorious days when a Red-Robe that wasn't Favir was shot on sight, and the only reason Favir got special treatment was because he was an ambassador. What, since we made one shitty charter sponsor go insane and beat the hell out of a boar, we're supposed to clear the way for his goddamn scorpion army on the march to war? Yeah, not buying it). And, since they're literally trying to end the world they are kinda sorta maybe the most important and dire threat to, well, everyone. Interestingly enough, they like us mostly because the collective guilt trip that Raheed lays down on the town is enough to overwhelm both the most sound minds (Gravius, for example) and the most racist warhawks (yours truly).
So, who can pick out the one of those bodies that is actually in direct conflict with Guildhall? Here's a hint - it's the Red Robes. I mean, come on, people, this is a no-brainer and yet for some reason the council is stuck with one thumb up its ass, one foot in its mouth, and the other foot being shot off by the free hand.
When I come back, this idiocy better be resolved or heads will roll.

I wish to make an argument with my sound mind: Raheed's behavior, and that of the Red Robes, is not condoned by me. I have never treated Raheed with anything short of respect. So then maybe instead of being a crazed child bent on getting even with those who have wronged him, he should realize that a small amount of angered and bitter people do not represent every tradesman's decision and demeanor. Blaming the whole for the work of a few is unfair and unjust, even if it may be convenient.
That is all I have to say on the matter, really.
