next goblin i find (and kill) i'm having someone mutilate off his head, than next to the FAWP heleridic memorial (whenever the hell we get an order going) there will be a Goblin head on a pike. goblins are the one thing Wallace will not think about twice to kill (and he can't kill things).

IG Damia thinks the town is retarded for giving Kravynn lore to use in a war to fight green skins. And the fact that High Five (Sir abraxis) was a tradesmen leading them, doesnt help. The town merely asked if he was in good standing, which he was, and concluded "oh, then yea, this is DEFINATLY a good idea!!"
Honestly, I'd rather be in this three way war we're about to enter then to let Kravynn have Obliterate.

It's pretty bad when Damia thinks the town is being stupid.
It's also bad when I have to be a healer on a mod 2 months in a row due to lack of healers. Hurray for beast song.

But the town is acting stupid. They do not listen to reason. They ignore historical fact and classify it as religious rhetoric when it comes from a source besides the here and now. Ironically, they spout out "The Five" in every sentence to justify their actions. They also arrogantly pray to The Five when they dug themselves their own grave instead of trying to resolve the situation through common sense. They should not attempt to use democracy as a crutch for incompetence. They should use it as a way to see other points of view, not block out free thought under the guise of silencing a religious zealot. Even zealots have valid views.
Am I a bad tradesman because I did not wish to help Sir Abraxas? According to the town, I am. Yet the Guildhall Oath never said I had to help everyone that came into town asking for it, including tradesmen in good standing. It tells me to keep brother and sister tradesmen in mind, yet there is no clause binding me to follow blindly if I believe that they will come to harm. I do when I pass critique; it is meant in the utmost respect and should be heeded instead of ignored.
I now say that the town has performed foolishly, and they most certainly have given me every reason to say so. They have ignored fact and replaced it with naïve pandering, leaving the realm and themselves in absolute peril because of their ignorance. Where are the veterans that have seen the workings of politics from before? Why are their voices not heard?

I really hope your referencing the Hat of Karthis. Besides us Bishop was the only one to say that the damn thing should be destroied. There's another great instance where The Five blinded all to common sense. The town refuses to listen to any argument when the topic doesn't directly affect them, regardless if it will come back and bite them in the ass later.

Blah. There is more to this picture than who provoked who, I can assure you.
The real problem came in the form of Sir Abraxas asking for help in finding a lore tome. The Order of the Black Hand follows Mortis, a lich bent on destroying the Orc Empire and all those that do not worship The Five. The town declared that they would aid Mortis in raising an army to combat the forces of chaos once they arrive in the realm. (Not directly, mind you. However, handing over the lore tome can be viewed as such.) No one questioned that logic, and eagerly helped Sir Abraxas find a lore tome for lesser beings gifting them with the power to forcibly remove spirits from the realm. Also, no questions were raised as to why this army existed or why Mortis thought it necessary to rally arms to begin with. This is an ulterior motive at work, and all people could say about it was how the town should help Sir Abraxas.
Who understands the depth of this mistake? Obviously not the town. Mortis was said to have come forth from his sealed coffin stating how the Orc Empire and those that differed in view from The Five would be crushed by him. And the town is so ready and willing to help an abomination like Mortis because his followers are "tradesmen in good standing"? For this current trespass against the peace of the realm, The Black Hand should all be charged with conspiracy against Guildhall, as the Kravynn lore tome in their hands would have ultimately led to disrupting and goading a war to start the Age of Chaos.
It was also enough to make the Orc Empire and Death Krayvnn take notice. Note how they were both upset with the situation, albeit for different reasons. Both were slighted, so it can be said that Evermoore really did not think their choices through.
Does the town honestly wonder why this was a bad idea? Because this information was available before the choice was made in December.
Just sayin'
